This Nantucket Whelk Shell Sculpture is a sculptural balance of movement, texture, and coastal minimalism. Carefully assembled like an organic puzzle, the intertwined shells create a form that feels both architectural and naturally formed by the sea.
Painted in soft matte whites, the shells retain their intricate textures while taking on a more modern, gallery-like presence. Suspended from hand-knotted nautical rope and anchored by a sleek chrome stand, the piece blends raw coastal elements with clean contemporary design.
Designed as a statement for a console, bookshelf, pedestal, or coffee table, each sculpture carries its own distinct composition and personality — no two are ever exactly alike.
