Maybe it was the sun in his eyes. Maybe it was the grandeur of the Sankaty Head Lighthouse perched atop the front nine. One thing is for sure, something interrupted a pivotal stroke. Not to worry. Hays Westbrook, founder of Nantucket Noose Clothing, is optimistic that the ball will make it out of the sand trap. This day is too perfect to be soured - and after all, this is the course where Bill Belichick likes to play, sand or no sand.
